We are pleased to share the news that IP video leaders, Axis Communications, today have announced an increased 5-year product warranty at no extra cost.
For Axis users, this means any eligible Axis products purchased from 1st April 2020 will automatically be covered under this new warranty regime. It provides additional cost-efficient ownership of Axis IP cameras.As a long-standing Axis Solution Gold Partner, we welcome this extended warranty period and feel it will help to further cement the knowledge that Axis is the first choice for users requiring a reliable CCTV solution and protection of their investment.
What's eligible?
The new 5-year warranty period is valid for purchases shipped from Axis on or after 1st April 2020. The 5-year warranty of your product will start 6 months after it was shipped from Axis to the original purchaser. These 6 months act as a grace period in order to cover the average shipment lead times from Axis to the end user via the Axis partner channel.
Extended warranty licence codes purchased up to 1st October 2020 will remain valid. However, from today it is no longer possible to purchase extended warranty licences.
