Overview of the Axis T8508

Optimised for surveillance solutions, this managed Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+) switch by Axis features eight 10/100/1000TX ports and web-based management. An ideal choice for small-sized applications, the compact unit includes 2 SFP/RJ45 combination ports and offers a maximum PoE budget of 130W.

The switch is capable of delivering PoE at up to 30 watts per port and features a user-friendly setup wizard for straightforward configuration. A comprehensive set of configuration tools are also included, such as an integrated DHCP server for automatic assignment of IP addresses. In addition, the unit's intuitive web-based interface enables effective management of all connected devices and users can quickly refer to the graphic topology for a simplified system overview.

Featuring a fan-less design for non-invasive installation in noise-sensitive environments, the switch can be desktop mounted or installed into a rack using the Axis T85 Rack Mount Kit A (please select from the dropdown menu if required).
