This free Axis application is available to download directly from Axis and works alongside compatible Axis network radar detectors and selected Axis IP cameras to provide a comprehensive overview of speed data that allows users to be proactive and make informed decisions to make roads safer.
The application overlays speed data onto the connected camera, enabling the visualisation of speed data up to 65mph. Overlays can also be colour-coded to allow for easy identification of speeding vehicles. Furthermore, users can gather statistics about road data and use this information to trigger events and recording when speed limits are violated.
Files can be exported in CSV-file format for a comprehensive graphical overview of road data and the application can be used in combination with other analytics to enhance scene awareness. Furthermore, users can opt to connect a public view monitor to send live messages to road users.
Please note: This application requires a compatible Axis network radar detector and an Axis IP camera. An SD card is also needed to collect statistics.
The Axis Speed Monitor application is suitable for use in areas in which vehicle speed needs to be regulated, such as roads, car parks and school zones.
