Overview of Axis Camera Station S9201 Desktop Terminal

Designed for use with either the Axis S1032 Mk II or S1048 Mk II rack-mounted recorder; this Axis desktop terminal provides an all-in-one surveillance solution, featuring a 22-inch HD monitor to enable optimal viewing of high-definition CCTV footage. The unit is pre-loaded with all the necessary software including Axis Camera Station 5 (ACS 5) and is also preconfigured to minimise installation time.

The supplied HD monitor can display a single HD 1080p resolution image in live or playback mode and when a lower resolution is selected, up to 25 split views can be displayed - providing users with a flexible and fully configurable overview of their system. Additional monitors can also be connected via the unit’s built-in display port and HDMI output, and 4K resolution is also supported with the use of a 4K monitor (not included). In addition, integrated USB ports allow accessories such as a keyboard and mouse to be connected for easy system navigation.

The included Axis Camera Station 5 software offers an intuitive user interface that provides all the necessary features for a reliable CCTV surveillance system. It includes site map support for a full system overview and camera channels can be explored using responsive pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) controls. Camera-based video motion detection and tampering alarms are also configurable and can be managed easily to ensure high levels of dynamic scene awareness at all times. Users can also utilise the software’s visual timeline and video search functions to quickly investigate and retrieve video footage. This data can then be exported manually or at scheduled time periods to give the user full control of how their data is managed.
