Overview of the Axis Q6154-E

This outdoor-ready PTZ delivers smooth HD 720p resolution at up to 50 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day. Part of the Axis Q61 Sharpdome series, its vandal-resistant housing offers protection in exposed environments and users can examine areas of interest in detail using the unit’s full pan/tilt functionality and 20x optical zoom. Additional features include, support for Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+) and a range of advanced imaging technologies for clear image capture - in any lighting condition.

The camera's endless 360° rotation and variable pan/tilt movements, alongside powerful 30x optical zooming allows users to precisely navigate across large areas and examine areas of interest in closer detail. Axis’ innovative Sharpdome technology allows the camera to provide optimal image sharpness and precision in all pan and tilt positions, up to 20° above the horizon - enabling clear identification of objects. Additionally, the integrated laser emits a safe beam that measures the distance between the camera and object to achieve optimum image focus in any pan/tilt position - even in near darkness.

Support for wide dynamic range (WDR) – Forensic Capture technology allows details in scenes with bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly, whilst Axis’ Lightfinder provides full colour viewing in ambient light extremes. Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) technology is also included to help reduce the effects of camera movement from wind and vibrations. Additionally, the Speed Dry function vibrates the dome at high speeds to remove any water residue - ensuring clear image capture if subjected to rain or high-pressure cleaning.

Configurable video motion detection alarms can be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) to ensure all motion is captured and also send alerts of activity to the user via email notification. Additionally, the integrated shock detection provides reliable, real-time detection of vandalism attempts.

Axis' Zipstream technology analyses and optimises the video stream in real time, recording interesting detail in high quality, whilst filtering other areas out to reduce bandwidth and storage use. Additionally, PoE+ support simplifies the installation process by delivering both power and network connectivity over a single cable.
