Overview of the Axis Q6074-E

Designed for capturing smooth and detailed video of busy areas, this outdoor-ready PTZ delivers smooth HD 720p resolution at up to 50 frames per second. Part of the advanced Axis Q60 series, its robust IK10-rated housing offers protection in exposed areas and regions of interest can be examined in detail using the unit's full pan/tilt functionality and 30x optical zoom. In addition, thanks to the Axis ARTPEC chip, this camera features Lightfinder 2.0 and offers advanced security functionality to help enhance cyber protection.

Endless 360° rotation and variable pan/tilt movements, alongside powerful 30x optical zooming, enable users to precisely navigate across large areas and examine areas of interest in closer detail. The unit also supports Autotracking 2 with click-and-track functionality, which helps to provide reliable security surveillance and enhances scene awareness. Additionally, the orientation aid enables dynamic text overlays and a compass symbol for quick orientation - a handy tool when using multiple monitors.

Axis' 7th generation of ARTPEC chip further improves all of the signature Axis technologies that have been created to improve imaging in difficult light conditions. Axis' advanced Lightfinder 2.0 technology is supported to provide full-colour viewing in ambient light extremes, whilst wide dynamic range (WDR) technology ensures the capture of details in high-contrast scenes.

Configurable video motion detection alarms can alert users of activity in pre-defined areas and, when combined with Axis' Active Gatekeeper, will pan the camera to a preset position when motion is detected and then automatically track the object - ensuring all movement is captured. In addition, integrated shock detection provides reliable, real-time detection of vandalism attempts.

This camera includes a range of handy features to assist in the prevention of unauthorised access. Signed firmware and secure boot also help to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the camera's firmware. Axis' Zipstream technology analyses and optimises the video stream in real-time, recording interesting detail in high quality, whilst filtering other areas out to reduce bandwidth and storage use. Additionally, support for High Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+) supplies the camera with both power and network connectivity via a single cable – simplifying installation.
