Specially designed for use in extremely hot temperatures, the Axis Q6045-C PTZ speed dome IP camera delivers full HD 1080p video at 30 frames per second and offers effective large area coverage with 360° endless panning, 20° above horizon tilt and a 62.98° wide viewing angle. 20x optical zoom enables close-viewing of a region of interest in high detail. The Axis Q6045-C camera has built-in active cooling which enables the camera to operate in temperatures as high as 75°C. The IP66-rated casing is also MIL-STD-810G military certified for robust and durable surveillance throughout harsh conditions.

True day/night capability enables the camera to capture full colour images during daylight then switching automatically to black and white capture in low light by an infrared cut-filter. This feature allows the camera to provide 24/7 high quality monitoring. Highlight compensation technology masks out bright lights so images are easier to view, this is a useful feature if the camera is used in applications subject to bright sunlight.

Intelligent video motion detection with Axis Active Gatekeeper enables the Q6045-C to detect movement and quickly move to a preset position, the camera can then automatically track the object until it is out of the field of view. This feature provides accurate and reliable surveillance, alerting the user via email and triggering SD card recording if activity is identified.

Dual codec provides compression method flexibility for the user and SD storage provides a centralised storage solution, ideal for temporary applications. A supplied media converter switch lowers the cost of cabling over long distances and enables the camera to be connected to external alarm devices for enhanced security.
