Designed for reliable, high-quality monitoring in both indoor and outdoor environments, this versatile dome camera captures sharp, detailed images 24-hours a day even in extreme weather. It supports 4K resolution at up to 50 fps (WDR off) and features a light-sensitive 6.3-13mm varifocal wide-angle P-iris lens, offering a horizontal viewing angle of 50-104°. Forensic WDR and Lightfinder 2.0 deliver excellent clarity in low light and high-contrast scenes, while OptimizedIR provides effective illumination in complete darkness up to 60m range. The included weathershield helps keep the field of view clear, whilst the innovative IR-shielded dome reduces reflections for crisp images even in wet, dark conditions. The included heater also helps to prevent condensation build up inside the lens.
This camera features an integrated acoustic sensor and comes preinstalled with AXIS Audio Analytics to detect critical sound events such as shouting or glass breaking. It's ideal for environments where audio recording may be restricted but where detecting sound events for real-time alerts remains essential. Classify screams, shouts and breaking glass, whilst adaptive audio can generate an alert if any sound exceeds the user-defined threshold.
Powered by the ARTPEC-9 chipset, the camera offers next-generation video analytics for faster object detection and more accurate event analysis. With AV1 codec compression, it delivers high-quality footage with outstanding detail and superior bitrate efficiency for reduced bandwidth costs. This camera can be mounted directly to walls and ceilings with the included mount, and runs over PoE for reduced installation costs.
Video Analytics
Cutting-edge AXIS Object Analytics (AOA) enables reliable detection, classification, and counting of people and vehicles—including cars, lorries, buses, and bikes. It processes video on the edge for faster alerts to speed up incident response. Thanks to the ARTPEC-9 chip with deep learning, it effectively filters out non-relevant motion such as animals or environmental movement for significantly reduced false alarms. Detected objects are clearly marked with colour-coded bounding boxes, visible in both the camera view and the video management system. Configure up to 10 concurrent virtual rules such as line crossing, zone entry, and area occupancy to enhance situational awareness and gather operational insights. AXIS Image Health Analytics is also built in, alerting you if the image becomes obstructed, degraded over time, or redirected without consent.
This camera also supports other AXIS and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
