This high-performance dome IP camera from Axis is capable of producing smooth HD 1080p video footage at up to 100 frames per second (fps), complete with true day/night recording and integrated infrared (IR) illumination. It’s housed in an IP67 and IK10+ rated casing for secure deployment in exposed outdoor areas and uses a selection of Axis’ advanced imaging technologies for clear imaging in difficult lighting conditions. Additional features include MicroSD card recording and support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). 

Supplied with a 9mm varifocal lens, this versatile IP camera offers horizontal views up to 105°. It is also capable of multi-view streaming, which allows up to 8 areas within the field of view to be cropped and streamed individually for live viewing or recording - a helpful tool when closely monitoring regions of interest.

The unit's integrated IR LEDs offer illumination at a distance of up to 40m (9mm) and OptimisedIR technology ensures an evenly illuminated image by automatically adapting the angle of illumination to the zoom level set. Forensic WDR is supported, enabling details in scenes with bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly. Additionally, full-colour video is delivered in extreme low-light levels using Axis’ Lightfinder technology.

Two-way audio is supported with the connection of an external microphone and speaker (not included) via the audio I/O ports - enabling audio recording and verbal interaction. Audio alarms, alongside tamper and motion detection methods, can be configured to help deliver accurate and reliable IP CCTV monitoring. These alarms can be set to trigger edge recording and also alert users of activity via email notification.

Installation is simplified by a handful of features including support for PoE, as well as remote zoom and focus which eliminate the need for hands-on fine-tuning. Axis’ Zipstream technology is also included and lowers bandwidth and storage requirements by an average of up to 50%, ensuring that important details in the image are retained in the video stream, while unnecessary data can be removed.

Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
