Overview of 0303-001 Axis Q1755

The Axis Q1755 is an IP camera designed for deployment in areas that demand a high-quality image, such as casinos, airports and banks. The Q1755 offers a HD 1080i image at full frame-rate, and progressive scan eliminates motion blur and distortion, providing you with an optimised image. 10x optical and 12x digital zoom ensures that you can monitor any area of the camera's field of view in sufficient detail.

As well as these features, the Q1755 has full day/night functionality. During daylight hours, the camera provides a HD colour image. Utilising an automatically removable infrared filter, the camera can switch during night hours to an infrared-sensitive black-and-white image, ensuring round-the-clock functionality.

The Q1755 also features Axis gatekeeper technology, which automatically zooms in on any activity in the camera's field of view, returning to its original position at a preset interval, and built-in motion, audio and anti-tampering alarms that can notify you by e-mail of any activity and trigger recording. Recorded footage can be stored remotely or on the camera itself using an SD card (not supplied).

Power over Ethernet provides both power and network connectivity to the camera via one cable, saving on installation time and costs. An optional pan/tilt motor is available to give the Q1755 pan/tilt/zoom functionality.
