Overview of the Axis P7214 Surveillance Kit
This Axis P7214 Surveillance Kit comprises an Axis P7214 video encoder and Axis Camera Station recording software with a 4-channel license.
The Axis M7214 video encoder provides support for up to 4 analogue CCTV cameras to be migrated to IP video, providing cost-effective integration as the system uses existing cameras without full replacement. Using edge recording to a MicroSD card, reduce network traffic by storing video on the device itself, whilst compressing the video using H.264 maximises hard drive capacity by compressing the video by up to 80%. 2-way audio support in the P7214 enables sound from target activity to be recorded and also enables verbal interaction through the camera (camera must support 2-way audio as well). Cameras can be controlled remotely via PTZ driver support and PoE further decreases system costs, allowing installation via a single cable to feed both power and network data to the encoder.
Axis Camera Station recording software provides handy remote access via mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets and provides local or remote viewing of cameras either over the internet or locally via the network. This easy to use software provides easy video search and supports H.264 and MJPEG video recording and playback.
