Overview of Axis P5515-E

Featuring full pan/tilt/zoom functionality, this Axis network camera provides HD 1080p resolution images at full frame rate. Providing a cost-effective alternative to implementing several fixed cameras, this external-ready IP camera features a 360° pan with 12x optical zoom allowing a wide area to be monitored with one unit. Additional features of this PTZ camera include PoE and edge storage.

Part of the cost-effective PTZ P55 series, this camera provides high quality full colour images which automatically switch to black and white images when the sensor detects low levels of light. The day/night functionality within this CCTV camera provides round the clock surveillance - ideal for applications such as university campuses and car parks that require 24 hour a day monitoring.

A 12x optical zoom enables the user to gain a closer view of specific areas of interest, while a 10x digital zoom allows further examination of the image - ideal for identification. Auto-flip functionality inverts the image so the person being tracked appears the right way up as they pass underneath the camera and the advanced gatekeeper technology automatic movement to a pre-set position in the event of a triggered alarm

To ensure operation in outdoor conditions as low as -20°C, the camera features an IP66 and NEMA 4X-rated housing which offers robust protection against harsh weather conditions, dust and corrosion.

A range of intelligent video detections allow for an enhanced level of scene awareness and the user is able to set parameters for automated recording and alert procedures. When triggered, these alerts can be sent via various notification methods including email.

Alongside its durable and external-ready design, the camera is capable of streaming multiple H.264 video feeds simultaneously, offering flexibility when setting recording and monitoring quality. Edge recording is supported in this model with an integrated MicroSD card slot (card not included) allowing users to& record files onto the MicroSD card to provide a backup in the event of network failure.

Featuring Power-over-Ethernet, which sends power and a network connection to the camera through a single cable, this IP camera can be a cost-effective alternative to deploying several fixed IP cameras.
