Overview of the Axis P5414-E
Axis P5414-E outdoor network camera with automatic true day/night, direct drive pan/tilt, integrated sunshield, Advanced Gatekeeper, autofocus and motion detection
The Axis P5414-E IP camera offers an advanced outdoor surveillance solution, delivering HD 720p video at 30 frames per second for smooth, detailed security footage. The direct drive pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) feature has no belts or gears so offers a durable, reliable and low maintenance CCTV solution. With 270° wide angle coverage and 18x optical zoom, the P5414-E provides fast, effective security monitoring of large areas in high detail. True day/night functionality enables the camera to produce high quality mono images at night through the use of an automatic infrared filter, providing 24/7 security. The IP66 rated casing with sunshield protects the camera from outdoor elements and can be painted to blend in with surroundings.
Two way audio support enhances the effectiveness of the P5414-E when a microphone and speaker is added, the camera can record sounds that can compliment the value of recorded video. Two-way audio also enables the user to pass on instructions or warnings through the camera. Axis Advanced Gatekeeper technology automatically directs the camera to detected movement in a user-defined area for fast, effective security monitoring. Advanced video motion and audio detection can trigger alarms to alert the user of activity and start recording at the same.
Dual codec provides users with a choice of compression methods to suit network conditions. Power over Ethernet support makes installation of the Axis P5414-E easier as only one cable is required which feeds both power and network connectivity. Edge recording onto a SD card (card not included) offers a back up in case of network failure or can be used if no network connectivity is available at all.
Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
