Overview of the Axis P3384-VE

The Axis P3384-VE is an outdoor-ready and vandal-resistant IP camera which can capture detail in poor lighting and complex or variable lighting conditions. Integrated into this dome is Axis' Lightfinder technology, which with exceptional light sensitivity produces colour video in light levels much lower than other IP cameras. With true day/night switching, the camera is infrared-sensitive for true day and night surveillance.

With a tough and weatherproof dome casing, the P3384-VE can be installed outdoors in high-risk locations in environments such as tunnels, entrances and for coverage of areas with bright sunlight and dark shadows. The camera's modular construction and support for remote focus and zoom allow it to be enstalled quickly, while the internal recording software provides an alternative to centralised surveillance devices, recording video locally to SD memory card or network storage.

The camera's P-iris lens improves the depth of field for sharper focus across larger areas than with non P-iris lenses. Operators can also challenge intruders remotely through the camera's 2-way audio system, protecting personnel from dangerous situations.
