Overview of the Axis P3375-VE

The outdoor-ready Axis P3375-V dome IP camera delivers full HD 1080p resolution at up to 50 frames per second (fps). Part of the P33 series, this unit supports true day/night recording and is housed in IK10-rated casing – enabling 24-hour monitoring of exposed areas. This camera uses a host of Axis’ advanced imaging technologies for clear image capture in difficult lighting condition and can be easily installed via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). It also features edge storage and two-way audio.

The varifocal lens offers angles of view between 34° - 90° and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. Multi-view streaming is supported, which allows up to 2 areas within the cameras field of view to be cropped and streamed individually for recording or live viewing.

WDR – Forensic Capture technology helps to improve images captured in challenging lighting conditions by compensating for bright light and dark shadows - ensuring individuals and objects are clearly visible. The camera also has the ability to deliver full colour video in dimly lit environments using Axis’ Lightfinder technology. Additionally, by using Axis Corridor Format users can vertically orientate the video stream to help maximise area coverage and reduce bandwidth when monitoring narrow scenes.

A microphone and speaker (not included) can be connected through the audio I/O ports to enable audio recording and two-way communication with those close to the camera. Various video motion detection alarms can also be configured to enhance scene awareness and notify users of activity via notifications such as email. These alarms can also be set to trigger recording to the built-in microSD card (not included) – serving as a data backup if the network connection is interrupted.

Axis Zipstream technology is included to help lower bandwidth and storage requirements. It does this by analysing and optimising the video stream in real-time, recording interesting detail in high quality, whilst filtering other areas out. Power-over-Ethernet supplies the unit with both power and network connectivity over a single cable for a quick and cost-effective installation.
