Overview of the Axis P3374-LV

The indoor Axis P3374-LV dome IP camera delivers HD 720p video at up to 50 frames per second (fps). Housed in IK10-rated casing, the unit also offers support for true day/night recording which is enhanced by integrated infrared illumination - making it an ideal choice for round-the-clock monitoring of exposed areas. Additional features include WDR-Forensic Capture, Lightfinder technology, OptimisedIR, Zipstream technology and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

The camera features a varifocal lens which provides horizontal viewing angles up to 90° and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. Multi-view streaming is also available, which enables up to 2 areas within the cameras field of view to be streamed and cropped individually for live viewing and recording.

Wide dynamic range - Forensic Capture (WDR) technology helps to improve images captured in challenging lighting conditions by compensating for bright light and dark shadows - ensuring individuals and objects are clearly visible. Axis’ Lightfinder technology is also included, delivering full colour video in low-light conditions. In addition, OptimisedIR technology intelligently adapts the level of infrared illumination from the integrated LEDs to best suit the scene and avoid overexposure. For narrow scenes, Axis Corridor format helps to maximise the area of interest by vertically orientating the video stream.

Users can also choose to connect a microphone and speaker (not included) through the audio I/O ports to enable audio recording and two-way communication with those close to the camera. Various video and audio motion detection alarms are configurable to help alert users of activity via a choice of notification methods including email. These alerts can also be set to trigger recording to the built-in microSD card (not included) – so nothing is missed.

Axis Zipstream technology helps to lower bandwidth and storage levels by an average of up to 50%. It optimises the video stream in real-time, allowing important details to be retained while unnecessary data is removed. Additionally, Power-over-Ethernet supplies the unit with both power and network connectivity over a single cable for a quick and cost-effective installation.
