Overview of 0327-001 Axis P3344-V

The Axis P3344-V is an IP camera with full HD 720p capability, offering a optimised, detailed image ideal for a wide range of applications. Combined with H.264 video compression, this provides a high-detail image with low demands on your network resources. Alongside this, day/night functionality provides a 24-hour surveillance solution utilising an automatically removable infrared filter. During daylight hours the camera will provide a full-colour HD image, switching during night hours to an infrared-sensitive black and white image. This can be combined with digital pan/tilt/zoom technology, which allows you to focus on a specific area of the camera's field of view, to provide an optimised image.

Alongside these technologies, the P3344-V features a vandal-resistant casing able to withstand impacts of up to 1,000 kg. Built-in motion detection, anti-tampering (e.g. spray-painting the camera lens) and audio alarms (using the camera's built-in microphone) notify you by e-mail of any untoward activity and trigger recording, either locally on the camera using an SD card (not supplied), or remotely.

To assist installers, the camera features remote zoom and focus functions and a built-in pixel counter, all of which help the installer to optimise image quality and ensure it meets any regulatory or user requirements.
