Part of Axis’ P32 dome camera series, the Axis P3265-LV indoor dome camera delivers HD 1080p resolution video at full frame rate – 24 hours a day. The unit features Axis’ state-of-the-art ARTPEC-8 chipset and a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) enabling highly nuanced object analytics on the edge. The advanced level of deep learning analytics allows detailed classification of humans, vehicles, and vehicle types with fewer false alarms than in cameras using previous chipsets. Furthermore, Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR and Power-over-ethernet (PoE) support are also included.

Camera

Featuring a varifocal lens that offers horizontal views between 36° and 100°, this camera is capable of capturing footage round-the-clock with its automatic IR-cut filter. This 24-hour recording is enhanced further by the camera’s OptimisedIR LEDs that illuminate up to 40m around the camera, whilst also adjusting the intensity of the LEDs as objects move close, preventing details from being lost through overexposure. Moreover, the camera’s I/O ports allow users to connect an external microphone and speaker to enhance scene awareness through audio detection or enable users to communicate with individuals near to the camera.

Imaging

Ideal for indoor areas in which changing light conditions can affect the clarity of footage, this camera includes a number of imaging technologies to ensure all relevant detail is captured, whatever the light level. Lightfinder 2.0 produces full-colour images in light levels as low as 0.1 lux, providing detail-packed video in near-darkness. Additionally, Forensic WDR technology improves capture in high contrast conditions by balancing extreme bright and dark areas to ensure all detail is visible. Furthermore, Axis Live privacy shield enables AI-based face blurring to actively protect the identity of individuals in the camera's view.

Video analytics

The camera’s advanced chipset provides enhanced onboard analytics based on deep learning procedures. As well as sophisticated object classification, Users can be alerted by notifications such as email when motion is detected by the camera thanks to its configurable video motion detection alarms. Approved third-party analytics applications are also available through Axis’ Camera Application Platform, providing customisable analytics options suitable for a range of different user requirements.

Video management

For remote viewing and basic video management, users can download the free Axis Companion Application onto their mobile devices. However, if a more advanced video management solution is required, Axis Camera Station or Milestone XProtect are also compatible. In addition, to ensure data is protected in the event of network failure, recordings can be stored on the onboard SD card (card not included).

Installation

Suitable for installation in more exposed indoor environments, this camera’s casing is IK10-rated for protection against tampering, assuring users that it can be positioned in areas prone to vandalism. Several installation aids such as remote zoom and focus, pixel counter and level grid, assist in setting the optimum view without the need for costly and complicated external devices. Furthermore, support for PoE reduces cabling by delivering both power and network connectivity via a single cable.
