The AXIS P1486‑LE is an intelligent bullet camera with a 1/1.8" CMOS global shutter sensor for clear, low-distortion images of fast moving objects, ideal for traffic monitoring and road policing. Capture high levels of detail at extended distances with the 40mm telephoto lens and electronic image stabilisation, in 3MP resolution at up to 60 fps or 270 fps at lower resolutions. Continuous or strobing IR illumination ensure 24-hour performance for capturing important detail even in complete darkness up to 80m range. Built on the ARTPEC‑9 chipset, it offers advanced image processing and next-generation AI analytics on the edge. Forensic WDR and Lightfinder 2.0 ensures clearer images in challenging lighting. Support for AV1 codec reduces overall video storage and bandwidth requirements. Remote focus and zoom simplifies installation, and the robust IP66/67 and IK10 rated housing ensures reliable performance in demanding environments.
AXIS Object Analytics (AOA) provides real-time alerts from events such as object detection, motion detection, virtual line crossing, and loitering, enhancing security and offering valuable business insights. The camera’s Deep Learning CPU uses AI algorithms to minimise false alarms by accurately classifying objects like people, cars, buses, bikes, and licence plates. Detected objects are displayed on-screen with color-coded bounding boxes for easy tracking. Operators can run up to 10 scenarios simultaneously, delivering a more comprehensive and precise analytics experience.
