Overview of the Axis P1447-LE

Part of the Axis P14 Series, this advanced bullet IP camera delivers 5MP resolution at full frame rate. The IP66-rated unit also supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared (IR) illumination (maximum range of 30m) - making it ideal for round-the-clock surveillance of outdoor locations.

Advanced imaging technologies are also included for clear image capture in any lighting condition, and the camera can be easily installed using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

The model’s varifocal lens provides wide horizontal viewing angles (up to 104°) and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. In addition, multi-view streaming allows specific areas within the camera’s field of view to be cropped and streamed separately for live viewing or recording - helpful when closely monitoring regions of interest.

Axis’ OptimisedIR technology intelligently adapts the level of IR illumination from the unit’s integrated LEDs to best suit the scene and avoid overexposure. High-performance imaging technologies such as Forensic WDR ensures the capture of details in high contrast scenes, and Axis’ Lightfinder provides full colour viewing in ambient light extremes.

Support for one-way audio is provided with the connection of an external microphone (not included) via the included I/O terminal block, enabling users to hear activity happening close to the camera. Audio and video motion detection alarms can be used alongside connected external devices to trigger alarms, start edge recording and also alert users of potential incidents via email notification.

Handy features are included to help simplify installation such as PoE, as well as remote zoom and focus which eliminates the need for hands-on fine tuning. In addition, Axis' Zipstream technology is also supported to help lower bandwidth and storage requirements. It does this by analysing and optimising the video stream in real time, recording interesting detail in high quality, whilst filtering other areas out.

Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
