Overview of the Axis P1435-LE

This external network camera by Axis is capable of delivering HD 1080p resolution at up to 50 frames per second (fps). Part of the Axis P14 bullet camera series, the unit supports true day/night recording and is enhanced by integrated infrared illumination, making it an ideal choice for round-the-clock monitoring of busy areas. Additional features include WDR, Forensic Capture and Lightfinder technologies to improve image quality in challenging light conditions.

The unit features integrated IR LEDs that extend the camera's night-vision range up to 30m. Axis' OptimisedIR technology ensures an evenly illuminated image by automatically adapting the angle of illumination to the zoom level set. Axis' Lightfinder technology enhances sensitivity in low-light environments, providing full colour imaging in levels as low as 0.12 lux. The varifocal lens with P-iris control helps capture images with optimal resolution, clarity, contrast and depth of field. Additionally, remote focus and zoom enables fine tuning using the network interface for easy and accurate installation.

Clear image capture is possible in complex lighting with WDR ~ Forensic Capture. This advanced technology ensures all details are captured in both bright and dark areas, providing in a highly optimised video that is ideal for evidential use. Axis Corridor Format allows users to conserve bandwidth when monitoring narrow areas by vertically orientating the video stream ~ preventing the recording of redundant areas.

The camera delivers reliable and accurate surveillance with video motion detection alarms to ensure users don't miss any activity or tampering. The integrated I/O ports allow external alarm sources to be connected ~ enhancing alarm signalling. When these alarms are triggered, the camera efficiently alerts the user of activity via a choice of notifications including email.

Axis' Zipstream compression technology helps to lower bandwidth and storage requirements by an average of up to 50%. The technology analyses video in real-time and continuously optimises the stream, reducing bandwidth by separating areas of interest to maintain at a higher quality than areas of little interest. The camera can be installed using Power-over-Ethernet and data can be stored internally to a MicroSD card (card not included), providing low-cost, decentralised recording.
