Overview of the Axis P1365 Mk II

This indoor fixed network camera from the Axis P13 series is capable of fast frame rate HD 1080p (50 fps) resolution video. It provides high quality imaging in all lighting conditions with Wide Dynamic Range - Forensic Capture, Axis Lightfinder and true day/night capability. Other features include 2 configurable inputs/outputs, two-way audio, edge storage and mobile support.

The camera is capable of capturing smooth HD 1080p video at 50 frames per second, ideal for fast-paced applications. Featuring a varifocal lens with a horizontal viewing angle between 112° and 39°, users are able to adjust the view to best suit a specific application. Equipped with P-iris control, the unit delivers optimal image quality, contrast, resolution, clarity and field depth, whilst remote back focus assists with the installation process and ensures sharp images.

This model produces high end video footage throughout a range of complex lighting conditions, seamlessly transitioning between Wide Dynamic Range - Forensic Capture for great levels of detail and Axis Lightfinder mode for improved low light image production. True day/night capability enables the camera to deliver high quality security surveillance around-the-clock, capturing black and white video during night-time and full colour video in daylight.

With support for digital output and input, the camera can be used with external devices to help enhance alarm signalling and deliver reliable security surveillance. Two-way full duplex audio capability enables a speaker and microphone to be connected to the camera, so users can interact verbally with potential intruders and can give warnings.

Video motion detection alarms, alongside Axis Active Tampering Alarm and audio detection alerts, help to inform users to potential vandalism attempts and if there is movement in pre-defined areas. Bandwidth and storage requirements are greatly reduced with Axis Zipstream technology and users can compress video files using H.264 or Motion JPEG formats. Power over Ethernet (PoE) provides a low-cost installation solution, whilst MicroSD card recording offers decentralised recording, further cutting system costs.

The camera comes with a stand for desktop, wall or ceiling mounting depending on the application.
