Overview of the Axis P1353 (0523-001)

The Axis P1353 is a box-style network camera designed to capture footage in very-low light conditions. It features Axis' Lightfinder technology which amplifies the available light in near-dark environments, making subjects far brighter than with other cameras while retaining colour detail for easier identification. Additionally, the P1353 is IR-sensitive at night, featuring a switchable infrared-cut filter which can be used with infrared lighting for event monitoring and detection in complete darkness.

The P1353's internal recording system also provides a reliable, low-cost alternative to external video recording systems. The camera can store up to 64GB of security video footage internally onto a MicroSD memory card, or can store to NAS devices. It also features the Axis Camera Application Platform, allowing installers to add a wide range of video analytics features to camera hardware as required, including cross-line detection, heat mapping and object disappearance algorithms, improving the effectiveness for event detection.
