Overview of 0324-001 Axis P1344

The Axis P1344 is an IP camera with full HD 720p capability, offering an optimised, detailed image ideal for a wide range of applications. Combined with H.264 video compression, this provides a high-detail image with low demands on your network resources. As well as this, the P1344 offers full day/night functionality when utilising an automatically removable infrared filter. During the day, the camera will provide a full HD image before switching to a detailed infrared-sensitive black and white image during night hours. With these advanced features, the P1344 is ideal for any situation where a detailed and reliable picture is required, such as shopping centres and schools.

Alongside these features, digital pan/tilt/zoom technology allows you to focus on a particular area of the camera's field of view. A built-in microphone provides an audio feed of the camera's surroundings and the P1344 can be configured to notify you by email and trigger automated recording if it detects motion, audio or attempts to tamper with the camera itself. Recordings can be stored remotely or locally on an SD card (not supplied).

To aid installation, the camera features Power over Ethernet, which provides both power and network connectivity through just one cable. A built-in pixel counter also aids the installer in ensuring that the image quality meets any user or regulatory requirements.
