Overview of 0350-001 Axis P1344-E

The Axis P1344-E is an outdoor IP camera with full HD 720p capability, offering a highly-detailed, optimised image ideal for installation in locations such as airports and bus stations. Combined with H.264 video compression, this provides a detailed image that places low demands on your network resources. The P1344-E is equipped with an IP66-rated, impact-resistant aluminium enclosure to protect it from sun, rain, dust and snow.

The P1344-E also offers full day/night functionality when utilising an automatically removable infrared filter. During daylight hours, the camera will provide a HD colour image before switching to a detailed infrared-sensitive black and white image during night hours or extremely poor lighting conditions.

As well as these features, digital pan/tilt/zoom technology enables you to focus on a particular area of the camera's field of view. Built-in two-way audio provides an audio feed of the camera's surroundings. The P1344-E can also be configured to notify you by email and trigger automated recording if it detects motion, audio or attempts to tamper with the camera itself. Recordings can be stored remotely or locally on an SD card (not supplied).

To aid installation, the camera features Power over Ethernet, which provides both power and network connectivity through just one cable. A built-in pixel counter also aids the installer in ensuring that the image quality meets any user or regulatory requirements.

Please note: this camera does not come with a power supply. Should you require a Power over Ethernet midspan, please select one from the options above. The camera is compatible with 802.3af (PD-3001) and 802.3at (PD-9001) power standards, but the integrated heater will only operate when connected with 802.3at compliant devices.

An indoor version is available.

This camera is compatible with Axis’ Camera Companion free software, which can monitor up to 16 cameras on a network using PCs and apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. By recording directly to an SD card, no additional recording devices or PCs are required. Axis Camera Companion is useful for small businesses that want to future-proof their existing systems and save on storage costs.
