Overview of 0320-001 Axis P1343

The Axis P1343 is a fixed IP camera ideal for indoor monitoring of areas such as supermarkets, schools and offices. The camera's wide dynamic range picks out detail in fluctuating lighting conditions. Utilising an automatically removable infrared cut-filter, the camera allows full colour monitoring during the day and automatic switching to an infrared-sensitive black and white image during the night, allowing you to continue monitoring premises 24-hours a day.

The P1343 also features a built-in microphone, enabling you to listen in to an audio feed from the camera, if required. Built-in motion, anti-tampering and audio alarms can trigger recording, either locally on the camera itself using an SD card (not supplied) or remotely, and notify you by e-mail of any untoward activity.

Power over Ethernet means the camera can be powered and connected to your network using one cable, saving time and costs during installation. To further aid installers, the camera is equipped with a built-in pixel counter, ensuring that image quality meets any specific regulatory or user requirements.

This camera is compatible with Axis’ free Camera Companion software, useful for monitoring up to 16 cameras over a network using stand-alone PCs and viewing apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Because it records directly to an SD card, Axis Camera Companion requires no external recording devices or PCs, helping to save on storage.
