Overview of 0293-002 Axis P1311

The Axis P1311 is a fixed IP security camera with a robust, durable design. It is an ideal choice where a visible surveillance presence is desirable, such as office buildings, shops and schools. Intelligent video features can detect motion, audio, or attempts to tamper with the camera (e.g. spray painting or blocking the lens), triggering recording and notification via e-mail.

Progressive scan technology ensures that the provided image is free of motion blur and distortion, and H.264 video compression substantially reduces the file size of the video feed, reducing demands on network bandwidth and saving costs when storing footage. A built-in microphone allows you to monitor audio, and optional audio input and output options allow you to expand the camera's capabilities in this area.

The P1311 is able to store footage on the camera itself using an SD card (not supplied). Power over Ethernet provides a one-cable connection to both the network and power supply, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
