Overview of the Axis P1214-E
The Axis P1214-E mini IP camera provides non-invasive surveillance in outdoor environments. Axis' first HD mini camera captures sharp 720p resolution video and is IP66-rated for all-weather surveillance. Additionally, the camera's body is separate from the lens module and can be installed up to 8m away.
Cost-effective recording is available on the P1214-E, storing video to a MicroSD memory card or networked storage. The on-board Axis Camera Application Platform also allows additional video analytics software to be installed as required. In addition, Axis Companion software is supported.
Please note: Only the lens module of the camera is IP66-rated for outdoor use. The control unit is not outdoor-ready and requires protection when mounting outdoors. Additionally, this camera does not come with a power supply. Please select one from the options above.

Typical applications
The Axis P1204-E is suited to oudoor security where footage needs to be captured in a non-invasive manner, for example in garages, car parks and for security at cash machines.
