The Axis M7001 Mini Surveillance Kit is an affordable IP security camera solution ideally suited to sensitive surveillance applications, such as monitoring of till points, store rooms or for a variety of home surveillance applications. The included compact video encoder and miniature security camera are capable of streaming video using H.264 compression, significantly reducing demands on network resources. The video encoder, which comprises the main bulk of the kit, measures just 101 mm x 37.4 mm x 30.1 mm. These small dimensions allow for a wide variety of installation options.

The encoder and security camera also feature Power over Ethernet. This means that a network connection and power supply can be channelled through a single cable, reducing installation costs and making it easier to install the encoder and camera in unobtrusive areas. The miniature camera that accompanies the video encoder is fully weatherproofed and IP66-rated, providing a flexible solution that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Alongside this, built-in motion detection can trigger recording of camera footage and notify you via e-mail of any untoward activity.

The Axis M7001 Mini Surveillance Kit also comes with a copy of Axis Camera Station, providing you with an out-of-the-box monitoring and recording solution free of charge.
