Equipped with a 12MP resolution sensor and stereographic lens, this palm-sized dome provides high-quality panoramic (180°) or hemispheric (360°) views with no blind spots. Benefitting from a deep learning process unit (DLPU), the M4328-P is built with the latest Axis ARTPEC-8 chipset inside, enabling fast forensic search in live or recorded video. It can accurately detect and classify moving objects, providing more effective security. Axis Signed Firmware and Secure Boot ensures firmware authenticity. Environmentally friendly, this camera is PVC-free and with made with recycled plastics. The Axis M4328-P compact camera is suitable for a multitude of applications where larger areas need to be monitored and image clarity is required.
Imaging and Optics
Offering a choice between 360° hemipsheric views or 180° panoramic views (dependent on mounting position), the Axis M4328-P produces rich 12MP resolution footage at up to 30 frames per second. Forensic WDR, performing up to an impressive 120dB, ensures the camera will deliver clear imagery, also in backlit scenarios, whilst the automatic IR-cut filter will switch the camera to monochrome mode when in near darkness. A variety of viewing modes are available, allowing you to capture exactly what you need, including full overview, dewarped panoramic view, quad view or double panorama. Furthermore, the camera’s digital pan-tilt-zoom capabilities enable you to navigate the viewing area from your video mangement system and zoom in on four areas simultaneously for closer inspection.
Video Analytics
Using Axis' latest chipset ARTPEC-8, this camera offers powerful artificial intelligence and deep learning analytics on the edge, including advanced Axis Object Analytics. It can accurately detect and classify moving objects, including people and vehicles, tailored to your specific needs. Irrelevant events are filtered out to reduce false alarm triggers. Metadata searches for humans, faces, vehicles, vehicle colour and position are all available, as is line crossing and object in area detection.
Support for ACAP version 4 enables for powerful, additional applications to deployed on the camera, including our current range of Axis applications and third-party applications. This allows deployment of the camera for more specific use cases in a variety of industries.

Installation and Mounting Options
This palm-sized, repaintable unit is designed to easily blend into any interior space. Factory-focused out of the box, the M4328-P is easy to configure with installation aids such as level grid and pixel counter. The camera view can also be remotely adjusted using its digital roll functionality. Powered via PoE, this unit also supports two-way audio through Portcast technology and features Zipstream technology for bandwidth optimisation.
This camera can be wall or ceiling mounted out of the box. The camera can also be pendant-wall mounted or recess mounted using optional accessories:
