Providing sharp 12MP overviews in difficult light conditions, the vandal-resistant Axis M4318-PLVE is equipped with up to 15m of OptimisedIR and Forensic WDR. The compact unit also features intelligent Axis Object Analytics for accurate detection.
The Axis M4318-PLVE is designed to provide sharp 12MP resolution hemispheric and panoramic overviews 24 hours a day. Built on Axis’ in-house designed ARTPEC-8 chipset and featuring a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), the M4318-PLVE offers powerfully enhanced imaging, cybersecurity and analytics. The camera incorporates a range of cybersecurity features, based on Axis Edge Vault, to ensure it is protected against cybersecurity threats. Due to its compact size and weather-resistant casing, this robust camera can fit into almost any outdoor space, such as car parks, petrol stations and transport hubs.
This high-performance fisheye dome delivers crisp 12 megapixel resolution video at up to 30 frames per second. Thanks to its stereographic lens and Sharpdome 360 technology, the 180°/360° views produced by this camera are sharp to the very edges of the image. The camera also supports dewarped views such as quad, panorama, corner, and corridor modes, as well as digital PTZ, enabling you to easily navigate around the entire area under observation. If lighting is low, the camera can still capture full-colour footage due to Axis Lightfinder technology, and the built-in OptimisedIR illumination with individually controllable LEDs enables footage to be seen in complete darkness without any IR reflection. Forensic WDR to 120dB enhances image quality in areas with difficult light conditions, balancing out lighting to ensure a fully usuable image is produced.
Allowing you to define exactly what you want to detect, Axis Object Analytics provides highly intuitive and customisable object detection that intelligently analyses the scene to reduce irrelevant or false alerts. You can set up to ten simultaneous detection scenarios including line crossing, object in area and occupancy. Furthermore, the metadata gathered from the camera can be searched through based on humans, vehicles, vehicle colour and types of vehicle, making it easier to quickly find the CCTV footage you are after.

Unobtrusive and repaintable, this compact dome is both IK10 and IP66 rated for outdoor use, protecting it from vandalism and wet weather conditions. Suitable to operate in temperatures from -40 °C to +50 °C (-40 °F to +122 °F) and humidity levels ranging 0-100% (condensing), this hemispheric camera can be installed in most global regions and can be used in frozen transport and warehousing. Designed for quick and easy setup, the camera is powered via PoE and features a range of installation aids such as digital roll, pixel counter, and level grid, enabling you to remotely adjust the camera’s view. Additionally, the camera features an I/O port that supports the connection of external devices. Axis Zipstream technology enables bandwidth control and helps to storage usage.
