This compact and versatile dome camera is suitable for outdoor use, delivering detailed 5MP video around the clock. Its motorised varifocal lens offers a horizontal viewing angle of 38°–98° and can be adjusted remotely during setup. Forensic WDR and Lightfinder 2.0 ensure clear images in low light and high-contrast conditions, while OptimizedIR provides effective illumination in total darkness up to 20m. Lightweight and easy to install, it comes supplied with a weathershield to maintain visibility in harsh conditions, and the IP66- and IK10-rated casing offers strong protection against rain and vandalism.
Video Analytics
AXIS Object Analytics (AOA) reliably detects, classifies, and counts people and vehicles, including cars, lorries, buses, and bikes, processing video on the edge for faster alerts. Powered by the ARTPEC-8 chip with deep learning, it reduces false alarms by filtering out irrelevant motion alerts. Detected objects are clearly marked with colour-coded bounding boxes. Up to 10 virtual scenario rules can be configured for greater situational awareness, such as line crossing and zone entry. AXIS Image Health Analytics alerts you to potential issues with the camera's field of view like obstructions, degradation, or redirection.
This camera includes an acoustic sensor and AXIS Audio Analytics to detect critical sound events like screams or glass breaking, ideal where recording audio is restricted but sound detection for real-time alerts is required. Adaptive audio triggers alerts when noise exceeds set thresholds.
This camera also supports other AXIS and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
