Overview of Axis M3204

The Axis M3204 is a high-definition IP security camera designed to be tamper-resistant. It is an ideal solution for areas where a non-invasive, durable security camera solution is required, such as shopping centres and reception areas.

The M3204 provides a full high-definition image at 720p, a distinct advantage when the camera is monitoring busy environments. The M3204 combines this with H.264 video compression, which reduces the file size of the image being transferred across your network, saving bandwidth and cost of storage. Intelligent video capabilities can detect attempts to vandalise or interfere with the camera, triggering recording and notification via e-mail.

The M3204 features Power over Ethernet, a one-cable solution providing both power and connectivity, saving time during installation and reducing costs. A built-in pixel counter also helps the installer to check that pixel resolution requirements are being met - for instance, to ensure that facial identification is possible.
