Equipped with a DLPU, the camera runs powerful edge-based analytics through the preinstalled AXIS Object Analytics package. It also supports a MicroSD card for convenient local storage, while PoE allows for easy power and network connections.
AXIS Object Analytics (AOA) provides real-time alerts from events such as object detection, motion detection, virtual line crossing, and loitering, enhancing security and offering valuable business insights. The camera’s Deep Learning CPU uses AI algorithms to minimise false alarms by accurately classifying objects like people, cars, buses, bikes, and licence plates. Detected objects are displayed on-screen with color-coded bounding boxes for easy tracking. Operators can run up to 10 scenarios simultaneously, delivering a more comprehensive and precise analytics experience.
The integrated sound sensor uses AXIS Audio Analytics to detect key sounds such as screams, shouts, coughing fits and abrupt changes in sound level. Events triggered on the camera can be used to activate external IP devices, or trigger the camera to start recording.
