Overview of the Axis M2014-E

Comprising a main unit and a separate IP-66 rated, bullet-shaped camera unit, the Axis M2014-E is a HD network camera suitable for use in retail outlets, offices, schools, restaurants and hotels. With the main unit and camera unit being connected via a single cable (maximum 8 metre cable distance), the camera can be installed outdoors with the main unit sitting inside the building, making for very easy installation.

With on-board card storage (selectable above) and support for the Axis Companion application, the M2014-E camera is ideal for creating a small, low-cost IP-based CCTV system that provides all functionality required for effective surveillance without the need for a dedicated recording device, whilst access and management is very easy with good support for mobile use and viewing apps. Built-in video motion detection can trigger email alerts and start recording at the same time, ensuring no activity is missed. HD 720p resolution combined with a progressive scan sensor and its 81&deg field of view, this smart little camera produces sharp, high quality HDTV footage of activity in light levels down to 1.0 lux.

Other handy features include FTP and HTTP file upload, Axis' corridor format (ideal for covering aisles, corridors and staircases), external input and output triggers and PoE support for easy, one cable installation.
