Capable of expanding new and existing fibre installations, the Axis D8308 aggregation switch allows the connection of multiple Axis devices using fibre midspans over long distances. Fibre optic is ideal for long distance installations due to its ability to transmit data over greater distances with minimal signal loss. This fibre aggregation switch is ideal for linking remote locations within networks.
The switch features eight SFP+ ports, two SFP28 ports and one RJ45 console port for network configuration, allowing users to connect multiple Axis devices using long-distance fibre midspans. It includes Axis' unique graphical interface and can display your network's device topology in a convenient overview. Installation is simple thanks to the setup wizard and Axis tools such as Axis IP Utility and Axis Device Manager.
