Overview of 0252-001 Axis 232D+
The Axis 232D+ is an IP pan/tilt/zoom camera designed for installation in areas such as railway stations, warehouses and retail stores. Its 18x optical and 12x digital zoom enables you to focus in detail on specific areas of the camera's field of view to, for example, identify faces. Pan/tilt/zoom control offers up to 50 preset positions and guard tour functionality to aid controlling of the camera.
The 232D+ also features day/night functionality. During daylight hours, the camera provides a colour image, switching to an infrared-sensitive black-and-white image during night hours or very poor lighting conditions, ensuring you have a 24-hour surveillance solution for the area you wish to monitor. The camera's wide dynamic range helps to pick out detail in highlighted and shadowed areas of the image.
Built-in motion can trigger recording and inform you by e-mail of any untoward activity, and 4 inputs and 4 outputs allow you to expand the camera's capabilities to suit a range of bespoke applications.
