Overview of 0268-003 Axis 216FD-V

The Axis 216FD-V is a fixed-dome IP camera. It is ideal for installation in demanding environments where vandalism could be a problem, such as schools and factories. Its compact, vandal-resistant casing is capable of withstanding impacts of up to 1000 kg.

As well as this, the 216FD-V utilises progressive scan and advanced image processing technologies to provide an image free of distortion and motion blur. A built-in microphone allows you to monitor an audio feed of the camera's surroundings. Built-in alarms can trigger automatic recording and the camera can be configured to send you an e-mail notifying you of any activity that requires your attention. The camera can be triggered by motion, audio and attempts to tamper with the camera itself.

Installation is simplified by Power over Ethernet, which provides power to the camera and a connection to your network using just one cable. This reduces costs and time during installation.

Please note: this camera does not come with a Power over Ethernet power supply. Please select if required.
