Overview of 0245-003 Axis 214
The Axis 214 is a pan/tilt/zoom IP camera with 18x optical zoom and auto focus. This flexible camera was designed for use in mid-sized businesses, in places such as offices, shops and supermarkets. The camera's optical zoom and auto focus capabilities offer a wide field of view without compromising your ability to monitor specific areas in detail.
Alongside the 214's pan/tilt/zoom features, the camera also possesses full day/night functionality, providing a 24-hour surveillance solution. During daylight hours, the camera offers a full colour image. At night, the 214 automatically switches to an infrared-sensitive black-and-white image, ensuring full coverage in all lighting conditions.
Built-in motion and audio detection alarms can start recording and notify you via e-mail of any activity in the camera's field of view. Two-way audio support allows you to communicate with the camera's environment. The camera has 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output, giving you the option to customize the alarm triggers to suit the environment in which the camera is being deployed.
