Overview of the Axis Camera Station - 5 channel upgrade

This product is an upgrade license for Axis Camera Station allowing up to 5 Axis video products to be added to further expand your live video monitoring, recording and playback application.

This license can only be used in conjunction with an existing 4 or 10 channel Axis Camera Station base pack and adds further video channels to an existing application. Axis Camera Station is a comprehensive and cost-effective live video monitoring, recording application for IP CCTV surveillance which can be installed on a standard Windows~based PC or server. Recordings can be triggered by manual trigger, schedule or on a continuous basis. To save on storage, recordings can also be triggered by event such as motion detection or external sensor input using the new event configuration wizard. Axis Camera Station also includes an option to use on-board camera motion detection routines to save on server load and network bandwidth. In addition the application also allows playback of archived recordings for up to 4 synchronized video sources at once. This is aided by comprehensive search tools and an easy to use timeline visualization tool. Sensitive data can be exported as a series of JPEG images or as an ASF video file which can be played back using Windows Media Player. Axis Camera Station also offers support for cameras with pan-tilt-zoom control using a mouse or joystick input. Digital pan-tilt-zoom cameras can also be controlled using the live view or during playback. Using the supplied Windows-based client gives you local or remote viewing, playback and administration providing the freedom to access your security application from almost anywhere. A complete live video monitoring and recording application for up to 100 simultaneous Axis video devices, Axis Camera Station provides even more powerful features in an easy to use application suitable for any business or organization.

This product adds five channels to an existing Axis Camera Station base pack license providing up to 5 additional slots for Axis video products. Note that this upgrade is not a stand-alone product and will only operate if you have previously purchased a 4 or 10 channel Axis Camera Station base pack.
