The Arecont Vision D4F-AV2115DN-3312 is an indoor, flush-mount network CCTV camera with high resolution capability at high frame rates, ideal for non-invasive monitoring of areas such as check-out counters. The integrated infrared-cut filter switches the camera from full colour in daylight to black and white video in low-light conditions, giving clear footage in darkness when used with infrared lighting.
A number of features help the camera to improve video captured by the camera. Moonlight mode automatically adjusts shutter speed to help reduce image noise in low light, while Casino Mode keeps the frame rate at above 30fps in dark conditions, ensuring slight-of-hand movements are not missed. To minimise the impact of video on network infrastructure, the camera also supports H.264 video compression, lowering bandwidth requirements without dropping image quality.
The camera is very quick to install, designed to clip onto suspended ceilings and supporting Power over Ethernet, so that only a single cat5e cable is required to supply power and data. Additionally, the camera can be integrated quickly and easily with any PSIA-compliant recording devices, giving flexibility when specifying a system.
