The Arecont AV2125IR is suited to high-risk outdoor security scenarios, with an outdoor-rated casing so that it can be installed outdoors without an additional housing and HD1080p video produced at frame rates of 32fps, ensuring footage is both smooth and highly-detailed, ensuring no event is missed. Additionally, infrared illumination is built into the camera, allowing it to provide surveillance 24 hours a day.

To minimize the impact of video footage on data networks, the camera provides H.264 video compression, efficiently compressing video while still maintaining a high image quality. Additionally, the camera's Casino Mode ensures that a consistently high frame rate is provided from the camera in difficult lighting conditions, making sure even sleight-of-hand is captured.

The AV2125IR can be integrated easily with any PSIA-compliant recorders or security devices, simplifying system specification. Additionally, Power over Ethernet allows the camera to be installed quickly as only a single cable is required for both power and data.
