Offering support for up to 32 4K camera channels, the Hanwha Vision XRN-3210BR2 provides reliable recording for both Hanwha Vision and third-party cameras (via ONVIF). Dynamic Event support ensures that additional event functions are available without firmware upgrades, allowing users to make the most of their camera’s capabilities without costly and time-consuming updates. Additional features include dual HDMI inputs, support for Wisenet WAVE VMS and AI search support.

NVR

Eight SATA hard disk drives are built into this model and can hold up to 10TB each (a total of 80TB), providing users with flexible storage options for a variety of applications. Local monitors can be connected to the unit’s dual HDMI ports to provide a more cost-effective standalone recording solution that requires no additional PC equipment or software licences. Furthermore, a range of search tools makes data retrieval simple, allowing footage to be played back and exported via the four USB ports.

Video management

Remote access to live and recorded video is available via the free Wisenet Viewer application (available for both macOS and Windows), providing search functions, dual monitor support and event trigger/action management for up to 32 cameras. For larger or more demanding installations, Wisenet WAVE video management software is available to provide more advanced management and customisation options, whilst remaining simple to use. Moreover, various recording modes are available including continuous, scheduled and event recording (including pre/post-event), ensuring the most important details are always captured without using up valuable storage space.

Video analytics

Various video motion detection methods can be configured directly from the NVR to enhance dynamic scene awareness and notify users of activity in the viewing area of any connected camera. Additionally, audio-based detection can also be set up when audio-enabled cameras are connected. Support for Wisenet’s AI search provides more accurate and nuanced detection with a range of attribute classification options, reducing the number of false alarms and time spent combing through footage.

Installation

Setting up this NVR is straightforward with a handy installation wizard that guides users through configuration, camera integration, and network setup via a web viewer. In the event of a component failure, the recorder’s N+1 failover and RAID 5/6 support ensure that data is not lost and that the unit can carry on functioning.

Please note: this Hanwha Vision NVR is provided with a choice of up to eight 10TB WD Purple hard drives (fitting required). These drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications (please select storage from the dropdown menu).
