Overview of the Hanwha Vision XND-8080R
Part of Hanwha Vision ‘X’ Series, this indoor dome delivers 5MP resolution video at full frame rate. It supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared (IR) illumination (maximum range of 50m) for effective 24-hour monitoring and can be easily installed using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). Additional features include dual SD card storage, as well as support for the free Wisenet Viewer software and remote access via mobile devices.
The unit’s varifocal lens provides wide horizontal viewing angles and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology is supported, enabling details in scenes with bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly. Additionally, Hallway view allows the monitoring of narrow scenes to be optimised by vertically orientating the video stream - preventing the recording of redundant areas.
Configurable video motion detection alarms can be set to trigger SD card recording and also inform users of activity via email notification. Enhanced video analytics, such as people counting and loitering detection are also available to help increase scene awareness for reliable security monitoring.
Two-way audio is supported with the connection of a microphone and speaker (not included) via the audio I/O ports, enabling audio recording and communication with those close to the camera. In addition, external alarm sources can be connected via built-in I/O ports to enhance alarm signalling.
Quick and easy to install, the unit includes support for PoE that delivers both power and network connectivity over a single cable. WiseStreamII technology recognises when there is no movement in the scene and lowers image quality, resulting in an overall reduction in bandwidth and storage requirements.
