This plug-and-play NVR provides a straightforward video management solution for up to 16 cameras through the Wisenet WAVE software, ideal for smaller operations. The rack-mountable unit comes with software and 16 licenses preinstalled so it can be used straight out of the box. It offers a convenient PC-less system with support for dual HDMI/VGA local display monitors as well as a keyboard and mouse, making viewing, recording and exporting footage simple. Complete an easy-to-use, all-round surveillance system when used alongside compatible Hanwha Vision cameras, including support for AI-based video analytics.

NVR

View, record and export footage from up to 16 compatible Hanwha Vision cameras through the preloaded Wisenet WAVE application. Four bays support HDDs up to 6TB each for a total capacity of 24TB (JBOD, less with RAID), ideal for recording video from cameras up to 32MP UHD resolution. HDMI and VGA ports allow for local display monitor support, with USB ports offering keyboard and mouse connectivity for a convenient, PC-less solution. An external storage device in the form of a USB stick is also a handy method to quickly save footage for investigation later. Reduce the need for extra cables thanks to the integrated PoE switch capable of powering IP devices over ethernet cable. Additionally, audio captured by compatible cameras can be played out through headphones and speakers via the stereo jack.

Video Management

Equipped with Wisenet WAVE software, this NVR offers remote monitoring and sophisticated video management features. View live feeds, play back, interrogate and export recordings and manage IP camera settings easily through the software's intuitive interface, with user-friendly installation tools to make device management straightforward. Bookmark management features and search functions such as smart search, keyword search and calendar options allow rapid retrieval of recorded video for quick inspection. The NVR can record continuously or be scheduled to record at certain times of the day, or be set to trigger when a specific event or set of events occur. In addition, support for H.264 and H.265 compression formats alongside Wisenet’s WiseStream technology minimises bandwidth and reduces storage space.

Video Analytics

Easily configure camera-based video motion detection alarms to increase scene awareness, enabling users to set alerts to notify them of suspicious activity within the viewing area. Trigger recordings upon detection of events, as well as activate devices connected via I/O. More nuanced detection and classification of objects is provided thanks to support for AI metadata and video analytics integration with compatible Hanwha Vision AI cameras, resulting in fewer false alarms.

Installation

Designed for straightforward installation, the unit’s onboard installation wizard guides users through the setup process and a mounting bracket is included to easily rack-mount the NVR, reducing the need for specialist personnel during the setup process.

Please note: This Wisenet WAVE NVR does not come supplied with HDDs unless selected. A choice of up to four 6TB WD Purple hard drives (fitting required) are available, which are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications.
