This affordable bullet from Hanwha Vision delivers 4MP resolution at up to 20 frames per second (fps), or 2MP at full frame rate. The IP66 and IK10-rated unit also supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared (IR) illumination (maximum range of 30m) - making it ideal for 24-hour surveillance of exposed, outdoor locations. Additional features include easy installation using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), as well as support for the SmartViewer 36-channel software and remote access via smartphones and tablets.
The unit’s varifocal lens provides wide horizontal views (up to 109°) and allows the desired viewing angle to be easily set during installation. Wide dynamic range (WDR) is supported, enabling details in scenes with bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly. Additionally, Hallway viewing mode is also supported and helps to maximise the area of interest in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream.
Configurable video motion detection and tampering alarms can be set to trigger recording to the on-board MicroSD card and also inform users of activity via email notification. The unit’s integrated I/O ports allow the connection of external devices to enhance alarm signalling, and a microphone (not included) can be connected through the audio I/O port to enable audio recording.
Power-over-Ethernet supplies the unit with both power and network connectivity via a single cable - resulting in a quick and cost-effective installation. In addition, WiseStream technology is also included to help lower bandwidth and storage requirements.
