Overview of the Vivotek PT8133W

The Vivotek PT8133W is a compact pan/tilt camera providing cost-effective surveillance indoors. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided with support for the 802.11N protocol for fast, reliable wireless connectivity. The camera also supports WPS connection for easy, no-configuration wireless connection to compatible routers.

Producing 1 megapixel resolution footage, the image captured by the camera is sharp and clear, while the 350° pan and 125° tilt let users monitor a large area. Additionally, audio events can be captured from the surrounding area using the camera's integrated microphone, alerting users to events happening off-screen.

The included Vivotek software allows a large scale surveillance system to be created consisting of up to 32 cameras at no additional cost. Support for MJPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 also provides flexibility when specifying image quality and bandwidth requirements for recording.
