The Vivotek PT7137 is an entry-level pan/tilt IP camera designed for monitoring in shops and offices. The pan/tilt functionality allows viewers to see views from all around the camera and control the its movement through the web interface. Users can also listen to sounds from around the camera without the need for additional equipment using the integrated microphone.
Wireless connectivity allows the camera to be connected to the network without the need for network cabling, simplifying installation. The camera also provides good low-light footage in light levels as low as 1.5 lux, ideal for night viewing in areas with little external light.
For users who are away from a PC or Internet connection, the camera provides a 3GPP mobile phone viewer, producing low-bandwidth images to mobile devices. Video recording is also available without any additional fee using the included ST3402 recording software, storing video to a Windows-based PC.
