Overview of the Vivotek ND8422P

This network video recorder by Vivotek supports the recording of up to 16 camera channels and provides a maximum of 16TB storage. An ideal choice for small to medium-sized business applications, the unit also includes an integrated Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch with a PoE budget of 120W – delivering PoE to a total of 8 IP cameras. Additional features include an HDMI output for local display and Vivotek’s VAST video management software.

This unit supports the monitoring and recording of multiple IP cameras at a resolution of up to 12MP. Vivotek’s VAST video management software (VMS) is pre-installed and provides a range of simple configurations to help deliver reliable CCTV surveillance. Users can schedule recordings to run continuously, during specific time frames such as night-time recording, or as a result of an alarm signal. Alternatively, the integrated HDMI output allows the connection of a local HD monitor to provide a simple PC-less monitoring solution.

Please note: this Vivotek NVR is provided with a choice of up to two 4TB, 6TB or 8TB WD Purple hard drives (fitting required). These drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications. (Please select storage from the dropdown menu above)
