Overview of the Vivotek MD8562

Designed for use in areas prone to vandalism and in moving vehicles, the Vivotek MD8562 IP camera features a vandal-proof and outdoor-ready casing with protection from shocks, vibration, humidity and temperature fluctuations. The camera's 110° wide angle lens and HD 1080p resolution capture sharp and detailed video footage from a large area, minimising the chance that anything is missed.

The camera's intelligent detection system identifies interference with the camera such as spray paint on the lens, alerting staff immediately to minimise camera downtime. Installation of the camera is also quick and easy with Power over Ethernet support as only a single cable is required for both power and data.

With on-board recording to MicroSD memory card, the camera provides a backup as well as an alternative to centralised NVR or server-based recording. The Vivotek MD8562 network dome camera also comes with free IP camera recording software, allowing you to connect up to 36 security cameras into a single surveillance system.
